Camp Geronimo is an Arizona Legacy
I am a former Scout, having been active in Cub Scout Pack 178 and Boy Scout Troop 78 when I was younger. I am now an adult Scout leader and a Merit Badge Counselor, and I am also the proud parent of a son in Scouts BSA Troop 78 and a daughter in an all-girls troop, Scouts BSA Troop 3014.
I am not collecting any money and I am not representing the Grand Canyon Council or the camp in any official capacity. I am acting solely on my own as a parent of two scouts who share the belief that future generations deserve the same camp experience as many thousands of scouts before them.
When I first heard that the Camp was going to be sold, I knew I had to take action and to spread awareness. Now three years later, the camp is safe from being sold, but is in great need of financial support to help preserve and maintain as well as modernize the existing infrastructure to provide the best possible scouting experience for generations to come.
