A lot of Arizonans do not realize that despite the camp not being sold that their support is still needed.
By donating to the Geronimo Endowment fund you will help the Grand Canyon Council preserve, update and maintain this historic property.
This year some of the programs that Camp Geronimo offers include both Adult and Youth leadership training skills, as well as many different programs including the traditional summer camp merit badge program and other new “high adventure” programs.
This summer’s programs for 2024 includes many Merit Badge opportunities such as Archery, American Business, Basketry, Canoeing, Climbing, Cooking, Emergency Preparedness, Environmental Science, First Aid, Forestry, Game Design, Geocaching, Geology, Horsemanship, Indian Lore, Kayaking, Leatherwork, Lifesaving, Mammal Study, Metalworking, Nature, Orienteering, Pioneering, Pottery, Reptile & Amphibian Study, Rifle Shooting, Rowing, Salesmanship, Search & Rescue, Shotgun Shooting, Soil and Water Conservation, Space Exploration, Swimming, Wilderness Survival and Woodcarving.
Your donation may be tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. I am not collecting any money nor am I representing the Grand Canyon Council or the camp in any official capacity. I am acting solely on my own as a parent of two scouts who share my belief that future generations of scouts deserve the same camp experience as many thousands of scouts before them.
